Catalog Items

Save common products, services, or listings so records, documents, and WhatsApp messages are faster.

What the catalog is for

The catalog stores common items, prices or values, categories, photos, public slugs, and item status so users do not need to rewrite the same details repeatedly. The public page can reuse these same catalog items for visitor browsing.

Common actions

  • Add a product, service, or listing with name, price or value, category, photo, and status.
  • Edit, deactivate, or delete catalog items if your role allows it.
  • Use catalog items when creating or editing records.
  • Upload photos so items are easier to recognize in lists.
  • Click a product photo thumbnail to preview the image.
  • Use public slugs when you want cleaner public item links.
  • Use manual items for one-off work that is not in the catalog.

Catalog access for users

Workspace admins can let a normal user manage catalog items without making that user an admin. Open Users, view the user, and enable the catalog management access under Access.
